Tilapia Fish Salad with Spinach

Here goes another awesome appetizing salad recipe for you guys. I had few tilapia fish fillets resting in the refrigerator for over a fortnight and few tablespoons of chicken fry masala waiting for ages to be used. I grabbed the two together and combined into preparing a divine fish salad adding wee bit of vegetables whatever were there at home right then.

It tastes super yummy and if you like you may squeeze lemon juice to zing it up further.

Ingredients:                                                  Preparation time: 20 minutes
ü  3 fillets of Tilapia fish
ü  1 bell pepper (chopped)
ü  2 tomatoes (chopped)
ü  1 avocado (chopped)
ü  1 bowl of spinach (blanched)
ü  2 carrots (chopped)
ü  3-4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
ü  1 cup of beans sprouts
ü  2 tbsp of Dijon Mustard
ü  1 tbsp of chicken fry masala (available in Indian grocery stores)
ü  Salt to taste
ü  1 tbsp white oil
ü  White pepper, taste wise
ü  Blue cheese dressing, taste wise
Method:
1) Coat the fishes with chicken fry masala and salt. Heat oil in a square grill pan and fry the fish fillets on medium heat.
2) When fishes turn golden brown in color, take on to an oil absorbent paper. Cool down to room temperature and break the fishes roughly into few pieces using your fingers.
3) Toss the vegetables together in a mixing bowl seasoned with salt and white pepper. Add Dijon mustard and mix evenly with a spatula. Distribute the salad on serving plates.
4) Divide the fishes in equal proportion to all the serving dishes and garnish with blue cheese dressing.

  1. I like fish salad with little bit rice as my takeaway menu. These salads are high with food value and can give us the best proteins supplements also. This recipe seems to me a different one also. I have shared this with my wife and told her to make this at home. I also like Fish and Chips Takeaway Glasgow
